A graduate of Northeast High School in 1971, Dr. Gandel received his BA from the Penn State and went on to accomplish his childhood dream of becoming a dentist. He received his D.D.S. qualification from Temple University in January 1979. Following graduation, he completed a residency in general dentistry at Jersey City Medical Center.
As a resident, Dr. Gandel successfully completed rotations in anesthesia, oral surgery, and pediatric dental care, emergency care of facial and jaw structures, and updates in the practice of general dentistry.
Dr. Gandel plays out all parts of general dentistry and consistently refines his specialty through continuous learning and training.
Dr. Gandel has also been a member of the Philadelphia and Montgomery County AIDS Coalitions. Along with investing his time in public speaking as a guest and motivational speaker when being invited to various esteemed institutions on numerous occasions for topics of AIDS, preventive dentistry, and oral hygiene. He has also been acknowledged by the Knights of Pythias Lodge.
To let others benefit from his research Dr. Gandel also likes to share his studies be they instructive stories or the latest discoveries in the ever-evolving field of dentistry.
